Herbivores Carnivores and Omnivores
Herbivores – Any animal that eats only plants is known as Herbivores. Herbivores are also called plant-eaters. A parrot that eats fruit and nuts is also an herbivore.
Carnivores – Any animal that eats meat or the flesh of animals is known as a carnivore.
Carnivores are also called flesh eaters. They have sharp teeth that help to tear up the flesh.
Omnivores – Any animal that can eat plants and animals will be classified as an omnivore.
